Wellington City and Sea Museum

Last week Potiki Tamariki along with the Year 6's, went on a trip to the Wellington City and Sea Museum. We went to find out more about how NZ was settled and by whom. We learnt about why people came to Wellington and how they came.

The year 6's helped us do a scavenger hunt around the waterfront and also helped us with an activity about navigation. We learnt more about Kupe and his ancestors and found a statue of him on the waterfront.
